Jolene Fassbinder, MSG, MACMJolene Fassbinder, MSG, MACM began serving as the CCGG Executive Director in July, 2005. She oversees the management of CCGG and supervises CCGG executive office personnel. Ms. Fassbinder serves on all committees, oversees the association finances, grant development and management, and planning and policy. Ms. Fassbinder holds a Master’s of Science in Gerontology and a Master’s of Arts in Communications Management from the University of Southern California. She reports to the CCGG Board of Directors. Ms. Fassbinder has served as the Geriatric Education and Coordination Center Manager for the UCLA Multicampus Program in Geriatric Medicine & Gerontology (MPGMG) since July 2003. As such she has a leadership role in a number of programs, including the California Geriatric Education Center (CGEC), the California Association of Long-term Care Medicine, the Donald W. Reynolds Faculty Development in Academic Geriatrics, and the Systems Approach to Gerontology Education (SAGE). She has extensive experience in gerontology, management, and communications. Prior to her position at UCLA, Ms. Fassbinder worked in property management serving older Japanese patients, and also served as the Internship Program Manager at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. She is a member of GSA, AGHE, APHA, and ASA. |
