![]() Sang E. Lee, MSW PhDSang E. Lee is an assistant professor in the School of Social Work at the San Jose State University. She received M.S.W. from the University of Michigan and Ph.D. in social welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her main research areas include health literacy among immigrant older adults, especially related to Alzheimer's disease, formal service utilization in dementia caregiving, and gerontological social work education. Her completed/ongoing research projects include: (1) Knowledge and perceptions of Alzheimer's disease and attitudes toward community services use among Korean immigrants; (2) Assessment of health and psychological well-being of residents in a multi-ethnic independent living housing; and (3) Mental health literacy and dementia among Vietnamese American immigrant older adults. |
