In addition to activities, like our annual meeting and opportunities to join colleagues on committees to further the goals of CCGG, the organization also offers a variety of services for its members and the public.

  • Expertise in gerontology and geriatric subjects that may be used as a sounding board for everything from Statewide strategic planning for the aging demographic, to policies and procedures for improved quality of life throughout the lifespan to business plans for those interested in providing services to the aging and their families for profit.
  • Teaching and training resources for business and education, such as syllabi, reading lists, evidence-based curricula.
  • Advice and information on “hot topics”, legislation and what is happening around the State in the field of aging.

  • Resume mentoring, job coaching and interviewing strategies to get a job and maintain a career in the field of aging.
  • Advice on writing job descriptions to get the personnel you need to work with and market your services to older consumers.
  • Networking events on local campuses for employers, students and job seekers in gerontology.
  • CCGG Ambassador Program- Bringing students together to benefit the aging population Statewide.
  • Archived training sessions and presentations on a variety of relevant topics in gerontology and geriatrics.
